The first Roaring Bright Markets at Gold Creek is being held today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The markets are happening in conjunction with the Roar'n'Explore Early Learning Centre. The market will be right next to the dinosaur museum. Details here.
Three new community batteries will be installed in Dickson, Casey and Fadden. Homes with solar panels will charge the batteries when there is excess solar power. The batteries will cost $1.5 million, with funding coming from the Federal Government and will be built by the end of March 2025. A 2022 review into neighbourhood scale batteries in the ACT found they weren't necessarily more cost-effective than larger storage systems. The ACT Government is also currently building the Big Canberra Battery.

Cheerleading World Championships: 22 Canberra Cheerleaders are heading to Florida to compete in the Cheerleading Worlds. The team, Anthem, placed sixth at last year's event and is looking to improve this year. More.
