The National Museum of Australia is hosting the Illuminating Egypt festival this Saturday. Discover the music, food and culture of Egypt. There will be live performances, street food and plenty of family activities, including Egyptian lantern-making.
The Discovering Ancient Egypt will be open late as part of the festival. The event is free, but tickets are required to see the exhibition. Details here.

A new frozen yogurt store is coming to Braddon. Moo Moo Frozen Yoghurt will open on Lonsdale Street (under Yaki Boy) this Friday from 10am.
Teenage fullback Chevy Stewart will make his debut after Jordan Rapana has been ruled out for 6-8 weeks. He will undergo surgery to repair a meniscus tear in his knee. Corey Horsburgh will also be out for 6-8 weeks with a groin injury, giving Trey Mooney his first opportunity of the year. He'll be starting on the bench. Three of Australia's most outstanding young classical musicians will bring their acclaimed "Birth & Rebirth" program to Canberra on Sunday. Sarah Zhu, James Monro, and Paul Nicolaou hold leading positions in the Australian Youth Orchestra, and the program includes the premiere of Nicolaou's 'Of Light, Divided' and Monro's 'Saturated Reflection'.
