Now, Jarochos has its own restaurant offering authentic Mexican breakfast, lunch and dinner. Jarochos on Lonsdale Street is soft launching this week before the grand opening this weekend. The 2024 Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship is kicking off this weekend in Canberra. The Rally of Canberra is held across the ACT with multiple spectator areas, and there will be a Rally Show and Ceremonial Start at Gungahlin Place this Friday 5th. Details here.
The non-competitive Five Peaks challenge is a fundraising ride for the Murrumbidgee Canberra Rotary Club. You can choose to ride the 88 km route or the 120 km route; both include six peaks, and you can also tailor your ride by selecting as many or as few peaks as you like, allowing you to customise both the distance and climbing intensity. The Unauthorised Harry Potter Experience, Potted Potter is coming to the Canberra Theatre this week. The Harry Potter parody has played to over a million muggles worldwide, including an ongoing Las Vegas residency. It’s happening from the 4th to the 7th of April. Tickets here.

A Century of Quilts showcases an often-overlooked art form made almost exclusively by women. The exhibition includes the National Gallery’s most requested art work: The Rajah quilt. The Rajah Quilt is a large quilt that was created by women convicts in 1841 whilst travelling from Woolwich, England, to Hobart, Australia. The exhibition is free and is on now until August.
