A development application has been lodged for a $120 million private school in the Molonglo Valley. The school will cater to students from early learning all the way through to year 12 with a potential for 1850 students and 150 staff. The school will have a cricket/AFL ground and will cover a five-hectare area. The full plans are here.
The Forage Street Food Festival and the Sustainable Travel Party in Braddon have both been cancelled due to the forecast of rain over the weekend.

The Hall Village Christmas fair is happening today at the Hall Showgrounds. There will be an artisan Christmas market with over 100 vendors, numerous food vans and live music and entertainment. Details here.
Mountain Yeti Beer and the Durham (Kingston) are teaming up to raise money in support of the earthquake victims in Jajarkot, Nepal. There will be two new brews and all proceeds from the two taps will go to Reach for Nepal Foundation.

This Sunday there are several events happening in Haig Park, including the regular Haig Park Village markets. Here's hoping the weather isn't too bad.
Paws Christmas Party - The Christmas Paws Party is happening this Sunday in Haig Park. There will be dog-friendly Christmas activity stations, Photoshoots with Santa Paws hats and free treats and goodies for all festive pooches. Details here.
SpringOut Pride Community Picnic - The SpringOut Picnic will be held at the Salthouse Centre at Haig Park. There will be roving performers and the Qwire (LGBTQI+ Choir). Details here.
The Little Burley Markets have been cancelled this week due to the risk of rain.
The Capital Region Farmers Market is being held at GIO stadium today. Epic is hosting Spilt Milk which necessitated the change of venue.
