Canberra is Australia's Cycling Capital 🚴‍♀️

According to the 2023 Australian Cycling and E-Scooter Economy Report, Canberra has the highest cycling participation rate in the country. We also lead the nation in e-scooter usage. More adults in the ACT (31%) have used an e-scooter compared to other states.

It's estimated that cycling contributes ~$213 million directly to the local economy and has created approximately 10800 full-time jobs. Full report here.

Forage - The street food event is coming to Braddon this Sunday. It will be held on the corner of Mort and Eloura Street and will feature food vans, street baseballs, skateboarding and live performances. Details here.

Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar - The popular Christmas markets are back at Albert Hall this weekend. Happening Sunday, the Bazaar will feature Scandinavian music, singing and dancing as well as a great selection of stallholders with food, homewares and gifts. Details here.

Sport: Canberra Cavalry Games

The Canberra Cavalry (baseball) played a 4 game series against Sydney this weekend. Unfortunately, they only managed to win 1 of those games. They are back in action this week against Melbourne. Tickets are available here.

Metaverse of Magic

Bringing together renowned magicians from around the globe, this game-changing show combines breathtaking illusions, stunning stagecraft and cutting-edge technology in an interactive performance.
