The National Capital Authority has released its proposal for the third stage of Kings Park upgrades. Kings Park (near the Carillion) will be updated to include separated paths for cyclists and pedestrians as well as new seating areas and access points to Kings Avenue. The NCA is currently seeking community feedback until 28th November. More
The ACT Greens have released a timeline of when allegations regarding Johnathan Davis were reported to them. Both the Labor and Liberal parties have raised concerns regarding the Greens' handling of the issue. More
Dear Prudence (City) is hosting an Open Mic Comedy Evening tonight. The event is hosted by comedian Marky Worthington.
Molly (City) hosts an evening of live Jazz every Tuesday from 7pm to 10:30pm. This week it's the Monica Moore Trio performing. Bookings are recommended.
A new Local Grocer + Liquor IGA will be opening in Dickson. This will join the recently opened Coles and the existing Woolworths supermarket. The small IGA store is located in the DKSN development. The developer had originally announced a Woolworths Metro store would be located in this location.
The DKSN development is home to two apartment buildings, ACT government offices and various other commercial spaces. An 'Eat Street' featuring various restaurants was planned but is yet to materialise.
No word yet on when the IGA will open.
The chances of the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) finalising an enterprise bargaining deal for the APS anytime soon look unlikely. It's now expected negotiations will drag on until February. More.
A new noodle restaurant has opened on Braddon's Lonsdale Street. Senn Noods is run by the same people behind the excellent Zaab restaurant. Senn Noods is doing walk-ins only with no Takeaway or Deliveries. If you're looking for a Pad Thai fix, this is a place to try.
