News:๐จ Property Developer Licensing Laws
Proposed new laws in the ACT will require property developers to hold a licence and pay for repairs if there are issues with their buildings. Developers who do the wrong thing can have their licence revoked if they donโt rectify issues.
The Developer Licensing Bill will be debated in the first half of 2024, with a transition period to follow before the licences will be required. More.
