🍃 Extra Green Waste Pickup
The ACT government says they will provide an extra green waste collection for suburbs hit badly by the storm last Friday. The suburbs of Amaroo, Charnwood, Downer, Dunlop, Evatt, Giralang, Kaleen, Ngunnawal, Nicholls and Palmerston will get an extra pickup this week. Residents in these suburbs should put their bins out by 5am this Saturday.
Free green waste skip bins will also be available in public places to help clean up. Details here.
This Weekend: Make Your Own Bauble
Make your very own glass bauble at the Canberra Glassworks. This limited edition 40-minute class will teach you basic glassblowing techniques and you'll make two baubles. There are sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Be quick. These will sell out. Details here.

If you live around Denman Prospect, a Christmas Picnic in the Park is happening tonight. There will be live music, a Photo Booth, sausage sizzle and drinks (House of Bubbles). Details here.
