The ACT government says they will provide an extra green waste collection for suburbs hit badly by the storm last Friday. The suburbs of Amaroo, Charnwood, Downer, Dunlop, Evatt, Giralang, Kaleen, Ngunnawal, Nicholls and Palmerston will get an extra pickup this week. Residents in these suburbs should put their bins out by 5am this Saturday.
Free green waste skip bins will also be available in public places to help clean up. Details here.
