News: Power Outages Continued on Saturday

Cleanup from the Friday evening storm continued throughout Saturday. Approximately 500 homes were still without power on Saturday afternoon as the temperature climbed to 35°. Evo Energy has said a small number of customers may still be without power until this evening. The ESA had 450 job calls and worked well into the early hours of Saturday morning. More.

News:🏞️ Canberra Waterways Closed

Many of Canberra's popular swimming spots have been closed until Thursday, 14th December, due to the recent heavy rainfall, which has caused poor water quality. Casuarina Sands, Kambah Pool and Tharwa Bridge are all closed for swimming.

News: Police Bust Largest Illegal Prescription Drug Network

A police raid on an O'Connor house has uncovered the "largest illegal controlled and prescription drug distribution network" in the ACT's history. The drugs were sold online and delivered via Australia Post. Two men were arrested and charged.
