What is this page?

This page shares details of an event which was posted on Facebook, sent to me via email, or where the organisation doesn’t have a website.

Many Canberra Digest readers are cutting down on social media. Because some events live only on Facebook and other walled gardens ☹️, people can’t always view the details without an account. When possible, I publish the key info here so it’s accessible to everyone ☺️.

You can still click through to the original event page, when available, if you prefer to use that platform.

P.S. If you have an event coming up and would like a page like this to share with others, just email me the details and I’ll put it online.

The Great Treat Hunt Paws Party

Sunday April 27

Canberra, clear your pup’s calendar – The Great Treat Hunt Paws Party is taking over Haig Park on Sunday 27 April from 11am to 1pm, and it’s basically Easter... but for dogs. We’re hiding treat-filled eggs all over the place (new drops every 30 minutes so no sniffer gets left behind), and your pup is the star of the show.

There’ll be live music from Wayne Kelly on the keys, a pop-up from Woof Love, and Easter bunny props just waiting to be in your dog’s next profile pic.

Plus, don't miss the Haig Park Village Markets happening at the same time!

Get your friends, invite your dog squad, and we’ll see you soon in the park
