This page shares details of an event which was posted on Facebook, sent to me via email, or where the organisation doesn’t have a website.

Many Canberra Digest readers are cutting down on social media. Because some events live only on Facebook and other walled gardens ☹️, people can’t always view the details without an account. When possible, I publish the key info here so it’s accessible to everyone ☺️.

Now that summer is over, Chef @sungyeolson is spending less time tanning down by the pristine waters of Lake Burley G, and more time back at the restaurant planning for the year ahead. With that in mind it gives us great pleasure to announce the first instalment of our popular ‘Saturday Substitute’ events for 2025, Canteen by Ramen Daddy!

Chef Eddy Tsai ( @ramendaddycbr ) needs no introduction. We all know that the best ramen in town (amongst other things) comes out of the immaculate kitchen of @canteen_cbr over at Dairy Road. For one lunch only Eddy will be in front of the fire here at Terra doing his thing, so if you like the sound of charcoal grilled Tsukune or woodfired Porchetta Mazesoba, probably best to jump on our website now and make a booking as no doubt this event will sell out fast!
