What is this page?

This page shares details of an event which was posted on Facebook, sent to me via email, or where the organisation doesn’t have a website.

Many Canberra Digest readers are cutting down on social media. Because some events live only on Facebook and other walled gardens ☹️, people can’t always view the details without an account. When possible, I publish the key info here so it’s accessible to everyone ☺️.

You can still click through to the original event page, when available, if you prefer to use that platform.

P.S. If you have an event coming up and would like a page like this to share with others, just email me the details and I’ll put it online.

Canberra Polo Record Fair - Winter Edition

Sunday 27 July

The Canberra Polo Record Fair is back with a 'Winter edition' on Sunday July 27th (this time also with the kitchen open serving waffles, egg and bacon rolls, kransky hotdogs, tea/coffee/hot choc and cakes - a fundraiser for the Wielkopolska Polish dance group).

Prepare to explore a massive collection of records, with the usual hall brimming with vinyl from local sellers and another fresh truckload from our friends at Revolve Records. Discover every genre imaginable, alongside heaps of CD's and some cassettes and unique music memorabilia.

Entry is a gold coin or small note donation, with every dollar going directly to support the Polish Club. There are a lot of stalls at this sale and each will take payment for their records separately so please pay as you go, cash payment is preferred as not all of the sellers are set up for electronic payment.
