Many Canberra Digest readers are cutting down on social media. Because some events live only on Facebook and other walled gardens ☹️, people can’t always view the details without an account. When possible, I publish the key info here so it’s accessible to everyone ☺️.

Community Tennis Open Day

Welcome to the Summer of Tennis!

Get ready for a FREE community event celebrating the launch of the Workday Canberra International 2026. This will be the place to experience what the Summer of Tennis has in store, with plenty of action both on and off the court.

Kids can enjoy FREE Tennis Hot Shots sessions run by Tennis World Canberra, along with roaming acts, face painting and glitter tattoos. Adults can join in on the fun too, with Cardio Tennis classes or a chance to try out POP Tennis.

Off the court, you'll find delicious food options, tunes from a local DJ, FREE seated massages thanks to CBR Massage, and various other items to be given away.

Don't miss out - the first 200 kids aged 12 and under through the gates will also receive a FREE tennis racquet!

This event is open to all ages, genders and abilities - no tennis experience is required. Simply turn up, join in the fun and get ready for a great day out.
